AUDITION INFORMATION 2010

VIEW AUDITION INFORMATION AND MATERIALS

Auditions will be held in early June. Please review the audition information and materials. If you have questions, contact Ms. Powell. Please don’t wait for the audition to sign up for chorus - sign up now! It is important that you are registered for chorus in order to be placed properly after the audition. If you are not yet registered at all, please see your guidance counselor to make sure chorus is listed on your schedule.

CURRENT OAKTON CHORUS STUDENTS - Please remember that June 3rd is the deadline for submitting your audition recording in order to be considered for one of the artist level ensembles. Otherwise, June 7th is the general deadline. The live portion of the audition will take place during your chorus class the week of June 7th.

CURRENT CARSON & FRANKLIN CHORUS STUDENTS - Ms. Powell will be visiting your school in June in order to hear you audition if you would like to be heard for placement consideration. Please refer to this website for specific dates and requirements or check with your current choral director. You may also register for Concert Choir without an audition.

ALL OTHER STUDENTS - Please contact Ms. Powell to schedule an audition at Oakton High School.
