Cougar Cabaret is a fun and exciting talent show event presented in a Cabaret style setting (AKA the OHS Cafeteria). This event provides students an opportunity to showcase their individual talents and style. All choral department ensembles will perform both nights of the event. Students will also have the opportunity to audition for solo, duet or small group performances. Students will need to arrange for their own accompaniment either by live musician or pre-recorded accompaniment. Students must have their accompaniment at the time of the audition.
Those selected will be featured on one of the nights. Unfortunately, there is not always enough room for every student who auditions to be selected. Snacks are served during the first act and dessert is served during intermission. This event really gives our students a chance to shine! It is also our biggest fundraising event of the year. Students are asked to help sell tickets for this event to contribute toward our fundraising efforts. Students will also be required to complete assigned set up and clean up service duties for the event.
